European Onshore Status

In 2002 Malta abolished the offshore company status to start a process of regulation. The island’s infrastructure and strategic location have placed Malta as a steady and progressive front-runner in the industry of finance.

Malta has further strengthened its position in the market and is increasingly attracting foreign investors, since implementing international financial standards and acquiring full membership status in the European Union.
